Pedro Emilio Alcaraz is a European PhD in Sport Sciences. He has a Master in High Performance Sport by Spanish Olympic Comitee and he is also a Professor of Methodology and Periodization of Training, Faculty of Sports. From 2011, Head of UCAM Research Center for High Performance Sports, Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia(Spain) and La Manga Club, Murcia(Spain) from 2014.
Pedro Emilio is the Deputy Head of Masters in High Performance Sport (Spanish & English version), and Strength & Conditioning and Readaptation in Soccer, LFPUCAM Institute, Universidad Católica de Murcia, UCAM. He has been a guest researcher at the Human Performance Research Center at Brunel University (London, UK), at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Oporto (Portugal), and at Center for Exercise and Sports Science Research, Edith Cowan University, Perth (Australia). He has been National Athletics Coach and Former Coach of different national level sprinters medalists and finalists of different championships in Spain: Strength Specialist Advisor to the National Olympic Canoeing Team (2006- 2008), Physical Trainer of the Koryo Taekwondo Team during the seasons 2007-2008 and Physical Trainer of Gisela Pulido (10 times World Champion in Kitesurf). Furthermore, he is member of several research projects in which the National Waterpolo and Women’s Handball teams were advised. NSCA-CPT-D * and CSCS-D*.
